Three generations of the The Elliott family have farmed at Bewholme since moving to Manor Farm in 1959.
The arable and livestock business diversified into free range production in 1989 and from then the business has developed to what we see today.
Alongside the packing centre, the Elliotts run the arable farm and contracting business that covers all areas of cultivation and harvesting. Working alongside their parents, all three sons now have a key role in the businesses.
Our East Yorkshire packing station is passionate about being as self-sufficient and sustainable as possible.
The energy used to run the packing station comes from our own on site wind turbine and solar panels, and our heating source comes from our on-site biomass boiler.
We recycle as much of our waste as possible, with our cardboard and plastic waste all being sent for recycling.
We run our own transport, which means we can make our journeys as efficient as possible.
Tom is responsible for sales and marketing of the eggs.
Mark is responsible for the day to day running of the egg packing centre and making sure orders are sent out on time.
Phil is responsible for running the contracting business alongside our own arable and pig enterprises.
Vicky looks after product quality as well as ensuring compliance.
Ell is in charge of all things technical at Elliott Eggs, including technical and compliance audits, as well as monitoring of quality standards.
Dove House Hospice only receives the equivalent of 10% of its annual running costs through central funding. As such, every area of vital care on offer to families across Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire is dependent on the kindness of individuals, community groups and businesses such as Elliotts Eggs. Since 2016, Elliotts Eggs have helped to make a truly incredible difference to so many patients accessing care at the hospice.
The care that the hospice provides allows patients and those closest to them to experience moments of light during even the darkest of times. Through donating an amazing 360 eggs to the hospice kitchen on a weekly basis Elliotts Eggs directly impact on the care that the hospice provides. Special moments for those in hospice care can be achieved in many ways. The comfort of a favourite home cooked meal can bring joy to so many and the team at Elliotts Eggs help to make this happen. We cannot thank them enough for their amazing support!
